Accenture Ventures has invested in Imburse, a cloud-based, payments-as-a-service enterprise platform. Imburse was founded in 2018, in Zurich Switzerland, simplifying the global payments ecosystem.

Imburse is known to work with global insurers, banks, and other large companies to connect outdated legacy systems to the global payments ecosystem seamlessly via a simple connection using application programming interfaces (APIs). Imburse has been working with several multinational clients that also includes the Generali Group.

The company will join Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight. It is an engagement and investment program that aims to connect emerging technology startups with the Global 2000 to fill the strategic innovation gaps. With this program, Imburse will gain access to Accenture’s global innovation network and the chance to team up with Accenture’s software engineers, system architects, and payment experts and innovate together.
