Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division has launched the HxGN Robotic Automation, robotic programming, and control software that allows non-specialist quality professionals to program industrial robots that can conduct a completely automated quality inspection. This platform allows manufacturers to provide greenfield factories or retrofit existing production lines with the best-in-class autonomous optical inspection cells.

The platform will help manufacturers accelerate the adoption of Industry 4.0 by intelligently creating optimal inspection routines in one step, a task that normally takes a significant amount of time and attention from both metrology and robotics professionals.
